FILMING ITALY SARDEGNA FESTIVAL 2020

The 3rd edition of Filming Italy Sardegna Festival conceived and directed by Tiziana Rocca, was held from 22 to 26 July 2020, at Forte Village in Cagliari.

The event - which has established itself as the only one of its kind because it links Cinema and Television for the first time with screenings, meetings and presentations of films and television series, involving the most important distributions and productions of the small and large screen, together with the giants of VOD and television entertainment - once again this year was held in collaboration with APA, the Audiovisual Producers Association chaired by Giancarlo Leone and with the general management of Chiara Sbarigia, with the support of Forte Village and with the patronage of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Municipality of Cagliari, ANICA and the Costa Smeralda Consortium.

The godmother of this edition was Ilenia Pastorelli, while Claudia Gerini covered the role of President of the jury, dedicated to short films.

The Honorary President of the Festival was Matt Dillon.

The Filming Italy Sardegna Festival has been the first film event in the world post Covid-19: a boost to the need to restart, to the desire not to stop ensuring, through the health procedures implemented by Forte Village, the highest safety standards, thanks to the implementation of a protocol that has seen everyone, stars and journalists, undergo serological tests and, where necessary, also swabs to ensure a safe and peaceful Festival.
